For many years, Burr maintained a summer home in Saugatuck, Michigan. After Burr's death, the
Saugatuck Douglas Art Club commissioned Patricia Daggett to create this statue of a young girl holding a puppet, as a tribute to Burr. It was dedicated on
August 7, 1988.
